PAST EVENTS:
Dance-a-Thon in Support of The Barrhaven Food Cupboard
Half Moon Bay Public School is thrilled that in-person school community events are back and better than ever! Our recent Dance-a-Thon was a huge success, thanks to the tireless efforts of our council members, school staff, Grade 6 students, and parent volunteers.
The event was a blast, with students hitting the dance floor, visiting various stations set up by our Grade 6 students, and playing games in a dedicated room for those who wanted to take a break from dancing. All the while, our students donated generously to the Barrhaven Food Cupboard.
After the event, our Grade 6 students helped package and load THREE vehicles full of donations for the Barrhaven Food Cupboard. When we delivered the donations, we were met with smiles and gratitude from the volunteers at the Food Cupboard. We were given a tour of the facility and learned about the incredible work done by these amazing volunteers.
We couldn’t be prouder of our school community for coming together and supporting such a wonderful cause. Kudos to everyone who participated and made the FUNdraising initiative a huge Success!
